Yesterday, we celebrated National Poetry Day, or #nationalpoetryday, in the United Kingdom. For the occasion, I edited a video of me reading a poem live at the allotments near my house in Leicester. I hope you like it. One day it will come out in Spanish when I publish a new bilingual edition of my debut poetry collection, which is going to reach its fifth anniversary this year.

I'm also seizing this opportunity to announce that I'll start uploading poetry and art videos to my YouTube channel. I hadn't uploaded anything there in four years. Yes, I've changed a lot since then. No, I've never stopped creating. Subscribe to stay up to date. Either way, I'll be sharing them here anyway.
“I want to believe in myself as much as I believe in my plants” by Cynthia Rodríguez Juárez. From the debut poetry collection Meanwhile, published October 2020 by Burning Eye Books. Recorded live August 2025 at WORD! in the Garden, at Queens Road Allotments in Leicester, UK. #nationalpoetryday
